Find a phone without SIM or internet
No SIM is not the same as no finding option: a phone may connect over Wi-Fi or be detected by a supported offline network. Without prior setup, power or an available network observation, there may be no fresh location.
What to do
Check whether the map shows a current or last-known point and when it was recorded; confirm the device model and offline settings.
Use the linked Apple or Google finding account. Keep lost mode active and check the platform's supported offline-finding conditions.
If it’s not that simple
SIM, internet and power are separate conditions
No SIM, Wi-Fi available
The device may connect through Wi-Fi if the account and finding service remain available.
No internet, offline network configured
Nearby supported devices may relay a location for eligible Apple or Android devices.
No setup or no signal
The account may show only a prior location—or none. A number or IMEI cannot create a live update.
Good to know
A phone number or IMEI does not supply a missing location signal. Offline-network availability varies by model, settings, battery and nearby devices.
